Happy Scooping

This may just be one of those posts that leaves you wondering….but regardless I’d like to share with you an online podcast called Stable Scoop. It’s about horse scoopings, scoops on horse news and soon to be food!

To take it back a level and explain why I’m featuring this on a food blog, I’m a horse girl who loves food who loves music. And as such you can say I’m a foodie who loves music who loves horses and so on. Because of my passion of horses and the jobs I’ve held in the past decade, I get to meet some pretty awesome people. Two special individuals, Helena and Glenn hosts of Stable Scoop, have become wonderful friends of mine.

Glenn the Geek and Tarte Chic Kat at the 2010 World Equestrian Games in Lexington, KY

Specifically Glenn is America’s Horse Husband, and the man behind the Horse Radio Network. HRN just happens to bring out shows like Stable Scoop and my favorite, Horses in the Morning. Helena Bee on the other hand is Miss Horse Extraordinaire who also happens to wear a lot of horse hats in her everyday life! What makes these two so special beyond all that is their level of nerdy geekdom which I totally relate to, and their love for food.

Friends gab, which is how they eventually heard all about EYTO (Eat Your Tarte Out). This then lead to me making a guest appearance on their show. As fate would have it for whatever crazy reason, they decided to have me back once a month to talk about food after that! It’s a special way we’ll all get to bond together and have a good time talking food, and horses.

If you’re interested in checking this show out, which I suggest you do, head over to Stable Scoop. From there you can download episodes onto your smartphone, via iTunes/Podcast or listen to them on your computer. To get yourself started with this whole food and horses phenomenon, check out Episode 217- Ranches, Taxes and Food. And stay tuned in months to come.

As Helena would say, Happy Scooping!

So proud of all you have done and how you are able to reach out to others, promote yourself and embrace change. I just shared your blog with my class and team in hopes that they would follow you for your food ideas, but also learn not to be afraid to live their dreams and not be afraid of change! Keep up the good work! Lisa
